"The more things change, the more they stay the same." |
That cliche is well substantiated by what you will see while rambling through these pages. Some of the memories from Frank B. Willis High School are shared by all of us - from the class of 1936, which was the first class to go all four years in the "new" high school, to the class of 1962, which was the last class to physically go all four years in the building before the next "new" high school (Hayes) was completed. You will also see that adding the past sixty-three years to that 30-year span does not destroy everything we remember about Delaware as it was when we were in school. I hope you will enjoy remembering as much as I did as I browsed through the pages of my mother's Delhi - Class of '36 - and compared it to mine. Check your Delhi. You'll probably see . . . . The more things changed, the more they stayed the same! Class of 1961 |
