About the only things that changed in the library were the light fixtures and the picture over the mantle. In 1936 it was "Madonna With Child" and in 1961 it was a three-masted schooner. The furniture held up well, don't you think? |

In September, 1998, the Winter Street entrance to the "Old Building" looked pretty much like it always did. The only changes I noticed are that the fire escape is not wrought iron anymore and the window frames are aluminum. I seem to remember old metal frames. How many of us had band, choral music, and shop classes in this building? |

Gym classes were pretty much the same. And we all had dances in the gym with crepe paper decorations. |
