Louise (Williams) Ream was the Executive Director, Curator of the Heisey Glass Museum in Newark, Ohio. She was one of the founders of Heisey Collectors of America, Inc. and served as it's first President for 10 years before becoming Executive Director and Curator. She retired in 1990 at age 75! Louise was the leading authority on Heisey Glass until her stroke in 1995 which occurred when she learned of the death of her sister. Her husband, Russell, died in July of 1997 after a long illness. She resides with her daughter, Phyllis Hess, in Lewis Center, Delaware County, Ohio. 9/10/00 |
