What ever became of the class of  1954?

A special angel with a heart of gold is how a lot of people describe Wanda (Powers) Christy these days.  She lives in Morehead, Kentucky, and does volunteer work in the area.  In September of 1998, she received the Kentucky Colonel Award from then Gov. Paul Patton for her volunteer work.  She is quite active in  the Rebekah's. One of her favorite projects is crocheting caps for the premature babies at the University of Kentucky Hospital.  She has four children and several grandchildren.  Click HERE to read an April, 1999, newspaper article about her good works.

After a long career with Motorola, Ken Hankins has turned his avocation of ballroom dancing into a vocation.  Now living in the Mesa, Arizona, area, Ken is a Ballroom Dance instructor and Disc Jockey.  He works for the Mesa Parks & Recreation Department and also teaches and DJ's dances at a lot of the RV Parks in the East Valley.
